Account and contact details such as name, mobile number, email address, profile photo, OTP verification status, and login/session details.\nOrder and shopping details such as cart items, wishlist items, product enquiries, order history, delivery addresses, coupons, product reviews, and support requests.\nCustom jewellery request details such as selected metal, purity, net weight, uploaded design images, requested design description, request status, and communication history.\nInstallment and KYC details such as plan selection, installment account records, payment schedule, payment status, KYC form details, PAN/Aadhaar details when submitted, uploaded KYC documents, and admin verification notes.\nPayment information needed to process orders or installments, such as payment method, payment status, transaction/reference IDs, and Razorpay order/payment IDs. We do not store full card, UPI PIN, CVV, or net-banking credentials.\nTechnical and diagnostic data such as app version, device type, IP address, API logs, error logs, and security/audit logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and verify accounts, send OTP messages, process orders, manage cart and wishlist, provide product enquiries, support custom jewellery requests, manage KYC and installment scheme eligibility, process payments, provide order and payment history, improve app reliability, prevent fraud or misuse, comply with legal obligations, and contact you about your orders, requests, support tickets, or account activity.
Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers only when required to operate the app, such as OTP/SMS gateways, hosting providers, payment gateway providers such as Razorpay, delivery/support partners, analytics or crash logging providers if enabled, and legal or regulatory authorities when required by law. These parties are expected to handle data securely and only for the service purpose.
Payments
Online payments are processed through Razorpay or other configured payment providers. Payment providers may collect and process payment details according to their own privacy and security practices. Madina Jewelers receives payment confirmation details such as transaction ID, amount, status, and payment method, but does not store sensitive card or banking credentials.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information. Data is transmitted using secure connections where configured, access to admin features is restricted, and sensitive records such as KYC and payments should be handled only by authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain order and installment records, resolve disputes, meet accounting/legal obligations, prevent fraud, and support customer requests. You may request correction or deletion of eligible personal information. Some records, such as invoices, KYC, payment, and order records, may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate business obligations.
Children Privacy
The app is intended for jewellery customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
